I never wore cowboy boots. I was always a combat or engineer boot guy.

Those are the exact same ones I still have. Though I never buckled the top buckle, and mine have numerous belt straps, including spikes. I still love mine, but they are less than comfy. I now prefer a nice creeper.

Only went to the Hippodrome a few times (Wrathchild and Lisa Dominique stick in my mind, for some reason!), but got to Busby's quite a lot, which is now the Mean Fiddler (Astoria basement).
The trips home were a killer. We'd always stop at the Shell garage and wake up the guy asleep at the night hatch, order munchies one thing at a time and make him walk round the shop to get them. Cheesy Wotsits were our staple diet. The cats eyes and the bumpy strip on the motorway kept us alive several times. Going to work the next morning with matchsticks to keep our eyes open, haha.

Ahhhhhh yes .. the good old days ! my munchie attack was only quelled by filling my face with a couple of Ginsters buffet bars (MMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm .. buffet barz..) an entire meal in one delich roll, that can be eaten with one hand whilst driving ! ( try doing that with a big mac .. no chance !)
Sweeeeeeet !

Pork farms pasties always kept me goin on the journey home. One night though we had been to the marquee to see GnR and then across the street to the stMoritz,as we left London back to Notts our windscreen went through,we ended up driving back in our sleepin bags we used to keep in the boot for emergencies,(incase we didnt pull lol)we must have stopped at every service station for a piss on the way back due to extreme cold, next day a guy knocked on our door said he had a windscreen we could have for a tenner and then went on to fit it for us,great times, wonder what happened to that mustard coloured Austin Marina with a black vinyl roof?

Bowie, T. Rex, Slade, Sweet are great.
Its weird how more people don't know/like T. Rex because they still have songs on TV adverts all the time.
